The Jewish question in Germany is exclusively a racial question. There is no need to repeat how this has come about. The issue now is merely the solution of the problem, for which decisive steps have already been undertaken. This is a fundamental prerequisite for the reconstruction of the new Reich. It is the will of the Fuehrer that the Nuremberg Laws should not be means to foster and perpetuate racial hatred, but should regulate the relations between the German and Jewish nations. If the Jews had their own state, a home for the major part of the Jewish people, this problem could be considered solved today, even from a Jewish standpoint. This is why convinced Zionists expressed the least objection to the guidelines of the Nuremberg Laws, because they know that these laws are also the only real solution for the Jewish people. Furthermore, they acknowledge that the German people who have regained their national awareness passed the same laws as the Jewish people had thousands of years ago (see the book of Ezra in the Bible). With these laws they were able to produce a national miracle, keeping the blood pure and uncorrupted, although their people lived for generations among alien peoples. One could assume that, of all people, the pure-blooded Jew should have some understanding for the racial laws in the new Germany, unless he believes that no other people has the right to struggle for the very same rights which the Jews claim for themselves in order to keep their blood uncorrupted. The legal exclusion provides legal protection for the Jews in Germany. In the future they will be able to live according to their way of life within the limitations outlined by the state. However, this will not give them the status of a 'national minority' according to the definitions of international law. This is because in order to be considered a nation one needs to have one's own state, which is the ultimate feature of a nation. There will be no Jewish nation as long as there is not a Jewish homeland. Even though there are some real foundations for a Jewish state in Palestine, the Jews are still outnumbered by the Arabs and the actual political powers are and will be for a long time to come in the hands of another nation. The Jews are therefore a folkish (ethnic) minority in Germany and not a national one as defined by international law. The Jewish question is a world question. In every state where there is an important number of Jews there is only one possible solution for the Jewish question in that state. It is the same solution which the German people have now undertaken: as long as they live within the same space, the two peoples, so different in blood and nature, have to be clearly separated by legislation. The Jewish tenant nation, only one percent of the German host Nation, will be politically, culturally and especially biologically, detached from the German people. If Germany today uses legal measures to force the Jews into a secluded life in every possible way, if it turns dissimulation into reality, racial hatred will disappear and a healthy sentiment will eventually emerge on both sides, free of emotion, of being strangers. Only this clear and composed mutual recognition can lead to a tolerable coexistence of both peoples in the same state. It will be some time before this surgical cut that finally separates the two will heal. By then the evils of assimilation of the Jewish people - which placed the life of the German people in danger - will disappear, and future generations will be grateful for what we have achieved.
